Current Skincare Routine
Skincare…where do we even begin? SO many products, SO many steps, and SO MUCH MONEY!!! And not to mention it seems like the “in'' products keep changing daily! I’m just like the rest of you and usually swipe up on all the latest skincare products. I’ve used products that other bloggers have raved about and after one time using them, I’ve had some pretty crazy reactions!
Everyone’s skin is different, but we’re all looking for the same results: less fine lines and wrinkles, lighter sun spots, brighter eyes and that overall glow! I have super sensitive skin and many of the products I’ve tried in the past have left my skin super dried out or I wake up with swollen eyes! My skin was having horrible reactions to the chemicals that are used in many of the skincare products on the market. I knew for me, I needed a line of clean beauty products and that’s where my journey with Beauty Counter started! I had seen many of my friends who also have sensitive skin have success with BC and I wanted to give it a try. Boy, I’m so glad I did! I’ve seen such a huge improvement in my skin with zero reactions! I recently had a makeup lesson at Jentry Kelley, and I’ve added a few of their organic skincare products to my routine. I’m really loving them!
I’ve outlined my morning and night time skincare routine for you below. It looks like a lot but I promise it will take you 5- 10 minutes tops! The key is to be consistent and stick with routine, that’s the best way to see results!
My Skin Type: I have combination skin but get very oily in my t-zone. I have super sensitive skin and do not do well with strong products. I struggle with large pore size and often do hydrafacials to help with that.

CLEANSE:
Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil: This is my makeup remover! It’s a lightweight cleansing oil that removes makeup and all the bad stuff!
Countercontrol Clear Pore Cleanser: When my skin is not looking too hot and I start seeing enlarged pores and acne, I will use this cleanser. It’s an exfoliating cleanser but won’t dry out your skin. I feel like a lot of similar products in the past have dried out my skin. This cleaner has aloe vera and jojoba beads. You will get rid of dead skin, clear pores and soothe your skin.
Jentry Kelley Exfoliate (Cleanser + Scrub): This stuff is the bomb! Like run out and grab you some now! It totally reminds me of that Origins Salt Scrub we used to all use back in the day. This stuff will wake you up with it’s amazing orange peel and mint scent. This is yet again another great organic product with jojoba beads. This will exfoliate and leave your skin smooth and ready for flawless makeup application.
Counter + Charcoal Cleansing Bar: There are some nights when I will use the charcoal cleansing bar to give my skin a little detox. It’s super gentle and can be used daily. It will leave your skin looking bright and feeling oh so clean!!
PREP:
Countertime Mineral Boost Hydrating Essence: This my friends is like a tall glass of water for your skin and gives you all those good nutrients. This milky essence feels SO good on the skin and locks in all the moisture!
TREAT:
Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum: No more wrinkles and fine lines, yes please! This serum increases the firmness of your skin and helps to reduce those laugh lines and crow's feet!
Jentry Kelley Revive Organic Face and Eye Serum: Let's face it we all wake up with those dreaded dark circles and puffy eyes. This stuff will calm your face down, depuff those circles, and help soothe the redness. I love the way it feels as it’s cooling and calming!
Seoul Ceuticlas Serum + Ferulic Acid: I’m sure you have heard everyone rave about the $160 Skinseuticlas CE Ferulic Serum. Well, this is supposedly the best dupe! I have not personally used the Skinseuticlas brand. I have been using this one for a few months and do see a difference in my skin! This stuff does all the things. It reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sun spots. It helps to prevent breakout and clear up acne. It gives you a brighter complexion and that all over glow!
Glossier Superglow Serum: Another clean brand that I really love! This serum is made with Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Sunflower Seed Oil and Fruit extract. It hydrates, nourishes, and helps even out skin tone. I love the glow that it gives!
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil: This is a great Vitamin E oil with cocoa butter. I like to add a few drops to my nighttime supreme cream moisturizer. It’s really great for dark spots, uneven skin tone, and reducing all the little signs of aging!
Counter + Overnight Resurfacing Peel: No need to run to the spa to get a fancy peel when you have this on hand! This is a best seller and has fantastic reviews. I use the surviving peel a few times a week (not everyday). This stuff turns dull into glow! You will wake up with a healthier and brighter looking skin. Like I said before I have super sensitive skin and this product does not over-dry or irritate my skin.
PROTECT:
(AM) Countertime Antioxidant Soft Cream: The name says it all! This soft cream hydrates your skin and protects.
(AM) Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40: The absolute best facial sunscreen! It’s clear, lightweight and odorless. It glides on smooth and works well as a primer. It’s a win-win!
(PM) Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream: This is a thicker cream that goes on last right before bed! It hydrates and helps smooth your skin and minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
